London Ambitions careers report
London Councils has been working with the National Foundation for Educational Research (NFER) on a report ‘London Ambitions Research: Shaping a Successful Careers Offer for all Young Londoners’ that identifies emerging good practice in the delivery of careers education and guidance through the London Ambitions careers strategy, which was launched in 2015 by London Councils, the Mayor of London and the London Enterprise Panel.
The report which was published on Friday sets out several key findings including that schools and colleges found to be collaborating with businesses will help to support young people in making the best careers choices.
A powerpoint guide for school senior leaders and teachers on the delivery of careers advice and guidance is available to download from the NFER website.
