“I never saw the harm in treating joint pain with glucosamine and chondroitin. But my patients never really seemed to improve. Then I came across a study that changed my mind,” says Ronald Hoffman, MD, who has been practicing for over 30 years in New York City and is an internationally recognized expert in integrative medicine.
A 2016 study reported by Harvard Medical made two things apparent to Dr. Hoffman. First, glucosamine and chondroitin cannot outperform placebo. And second, they do far more harm than good. In fact, the study had to be stopped because of health concerns for the glucosamine and chondroitin group. The researchers concluded glucosamine and chondroitin can lead to water retention, bloating, and weight gain, adding additional stress on joints.

These recent findings suggest glucosamine and chondroitin simply do not address the root cause of joint pain. So what actually causes joint pain in the first place, and how can we treat it in a long-term, healthy way?
“The primary actor in joint inflammation is an overabundance of signaling molecules called pro-inflammatory cytokines,” Dr. Hoffman explains. “These cells typically aid the body’s healing process by helping to immobilize an injury. However, constant overproduction leads to chronic inflammation and degradation of joint cartilage. Limiting the production of pro-inflammatory cytokines reduces painful inflammation and creates the optimal environment for your body to regenerate cartilage and repair the structure of the joint.”
Dr. Hoffman is convinced that a natural approach is best for this natural part of the aging process. He enlisted the help of a group of New England researchers to search for the most potent natural compounds to limit the production of pro-inflammatory cytokines. Over the last 18 months, these researchers have been perfecting his formula in a GMP certified facility in NY. They named the formulation RediMove, which consists of UC-II® Collagen, Boswellia Serrata, MSM, Turmeric, and Bioperine®.* Each natural ingredient has been clinically proven to reduce inflammation and promote a healthy environment for cartilage regeneration.
Early feedback was overwhelmingly positive from focus groups and a small scale proof-of-concept study. However, Dr. Hoffman was mindful that glucosamine had consistently failed when compared to placebo. He insisted on testing the product to achieve real measurable results in a placebo-controlled clinical study. While it is not a miracle cure, the clinical results are very encouraging.

The study examined the two most important factors for patients: joint pain relief and improved mobility. More than 4 out of 5 study participants experienced joint pain relief and improved mobility after taking RediMove for just 2 weeks. In addition, this statistically-significant level of joint pain relief was sustained throughout the remainder of the 30 day trial for more than 85% of participants. These results were statistically significant when compared with placebo, and none of the participants reported any negative side effects.†
At this point, Dr. Hoffman decided to partner with an American manufacturer and release the product to the public. RediMove is non-GMO and gluten-free and is made in a GMP-certified facility in New York to ensure the highest standards of safety.
30 day trials of RediMove are temporarily available online until October 31st.
