UK WEATHER could be plagued by another return of the Beast from the East as weather maps have predicted that bitterly cold air will cover the country at the start of April, it has been forecast.

The latest maps show that by as early as April 3 the UK could be covered in frighteningly cold air that could turn rain into snow.

Meanwhile, milder air is set to cover the country that could push temperate strategy into double digits, according to the latest Met Office forecast.

Meteorologist Alex Deakin said: “It’s a cold start, generally an icy start. But generally, it’s going to be a fine day on Tuesday.

“There will be cloud across parts of north-east England and in the Midlands.
